What is a giclee’? Giclee’ is an invented name for the process of making fine art prints from a digital source using in jet printing. The word “giclee’ from the French language work “le gicleur” meaning “nozzle”, or more specifically “gicler” meaning “to squirt, or spray.” The intent of a giclee’ print is to provide a high quality image on paper or canvas that can provide the collector or art patron with a economical method of getting a certain artists work on their wall. Ken provides a wide range of subject matter and the viewer can review by sampling the categories below.
About Ken’s Prints……
Ken provides a set of giclee’ prints of original oil paintings of his creative art adventures. Each print is on heavy duty water color paper that is printed as a gecle’e on paper. Each print is of an image size of 8x10 inches and double matted with an outside dimension of the matt at 12x16 inches. 12x16 inches would be the size of the frame. Larger sizes are available upon special request. The 8x10 image size is a great framing size suitable for any home or office. Ken paints his travels and the viewer will recognize St. Simons Island, GA, Southeastern local coastal scenes, European subjects, sport scenes and other ports of call.
Price: Size of image…8x10 and size of matt is 12x16: $60 plus shipping of $5.00. Tax if purchased in Georgia. Again, the price includes the print and a beautiful double matt with strong backing material.
Note: If shipped outside of Georgia there will be no tax.
